Alhamdulillah, the weather held out for the day, and we had 800 people attend this event to raise money to go towards the building of the sister's mezzanine and new wudu facilities. We will now calculate how much money we managed to raise, insha'Allah.

We had 2 lectures aimed at giving us a few helpful tips in ensuring we don't repeat our past mistakes, insha'Allah. Our guests, both members of the Alkauthar Organisation, gave beautiful lectures on similar subject at the Alkauthar Conference on New Year's Day 2008 in Croydon, South London.

We had the pleasure of hearing Islam Channel's Imam Abu Hanifah, Sheikh Murtaza Khan, plus we had questions answered by Sheikh Al-Haddad.

Following the huge success of our previous event with Sheikh Khalid, we opted to split this event to allow the masjid to cope with the numbers of brothers and sisters attending. Even with this extra measure, the masjid was completely full and once again showed the need to expand our facilities. The evening ended with 3 shahadahs, masha'Allah.

Alhamdullah, this event was a great success with a huge number of brothers and sisters attending. This Highlighted the need to begin our developement plans as soon as possible for the benefit of us all. At the end of the event 2 new brother entered Islam by taking their shahadahs. Allahu Akbar!

Annoor Cultural & Community Centre is conveniently located, alhamdulillah, in the heart of Acton Town Center just off Acton High Street.

Transport Routes

Acton High Street is serviced by a number of bus routes, all of which stop within yards of Church Road (routes E3, 70, 207, 266, 440 & 607). Be sure to ask for the Morrisons stop on the eastbound routes and for the McDonald's stop on the westbound routes.


We are walking distance from both Acton Town tube station (Picadilly Line) and Acton Central train station.


Alternatively, Both North Acton or West Acton tube stations (Central Line), and Acton Main Line are a short bus ride away (routes 266 & 440).
